News from ASSITEJ Lithuania

On the 1st of December our long term President and founder of ASSITEJ Lithuania Violeta Podolskaitė stepped down from her position after serving almost 25 years. Her hard and devoted work in establishing and promoting performing arts for young audiences in Lithuania is and will be greatly valued by the whole ASSITEJ Lithuania community. We are grateful to Violeta for her inspiration and support for each our members!

After serving for full cadency of 5 years the Chair of the Board Birutė Banevičiūtė also stepped down from her position. We aknowledge and value her contribution in promoting ASSITEJ Lithuania in the international context, as well as work in Nordic-Baltic ASSITEJ Network.

We are grateful to Board members Saulė Degutytė ir Inesa Pilvelytė who served two terms and did great job in organizing ASSITEJ festival Jėga and expanding public relations.
