Panevėžys Theater „Menas“ was etsablished in 1991 by the initiative of theater director, producer Julius Dautartas and visual artist Kestutis Vaiciulis. Since the opening the theater staged 76 performances, annually there are 3-4 premieres and over 100 performances for children, youth and adult audiences as well as several educational projects. Since 2005 theater organizes festival of chamber theaters. Theater is the member of The State theater association.
