Tai šiandien ypač aktualus pasakojimas apie karą ir tai, kaip jis paveikia žmones. „Mano tėvas turėjo šautuvą“ – labai intymus spektaklis apie tėvus jų sūnų akimis. Istorijos pasakotojai Raphael Rodan ir Sahad Sahebdivani yra artimi draugai iš priešiškų šalių – Irano ir Izraelio. Šiame spektaklyje jie nusprendė palyginti savo praeitį, kaip sūnūs vyrų, išgyvenusių karus ir revoliucijas. Jie suvokia, kad likimas lengvai galėjo pasisukti taip, kad jų tėvai ginklus būtų nukreipę vienas į kitą. Kaip tai paveiktų jų draugystę? Today it is a very topical story about war and how it influences people. “My Father Had a Gun” is a very intimate performance about fathers in their sons’ eyes. The narrators Raphael Rodan and Sahad Sahebdivani are close friends from opponent countries – Iran and Israel. They both decided to compare their past. They are sons of men who survived wars and revolutions. They understand that the fate could turn so that their fathers might have targeted at each other. How this would influence their friendship? The story just grips the spectators leaving no one indifferent. The talented actors are accompanied by live music.
